I-5 towards Mt. Shasta

exit 89 East towards McCloud

drive through McCloud, continue about 9 miles past McCloud

LEFT on road 43N19 (look for a large national forest sign that says Cattle
Camp)

continue on this road for a time. it will go from gravel to dirt and will
 become quite dusty,roll up the windows and don't travel too close behind
anyone.

you will cross a railroad track. stay to the right as you veer to the left
to
continue on road 43N19.

you will cross a cattleguard.

you will see road 40N63Y on the right. do not turn here, continue.

now look for the 2nd road on the right. it will be clearly marked. turn
right here
and continue until you come to a fork. you're there! buses and trucks
should go slow
on this road, there are a couple of tight squeezes.



bring lots of drinking water, or a biological filter.

there are a few mosqitoes, some repellent may be good.
